The Kuwait Lawyers Association’s Centre for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution has published its roster of accredited, practising arbitrators, listed by turn and rank.
Lawyer Sultan Al-Qahtani, a member of the Centre’s board, said the step reflects the principle of transparency adopted by the Association’s board and affirms the Centre’s neutrality.
Who is on the roster?
Only members whose Centre subscriptions are paid up are listed. Members not on the list may request to be added once outstanding subscriptions are settled, under the new articles of association.
Procedural rules
The Centre’s procedural rules were amended after board approval and adopted by the ordinary general assembly, taking effect on 1 April 2017.
Admissions
Al-Qahtani announced that the Centre is accepting new arbitrators and experts, including accountants, engineers, doctors, professionals and technical experts, each according to their roster and grade, and invited applicants to contact the Centre and submit their documents.
